Leaving for LINA...but first a field trip...and a few photos from...

 LEAVING FOR LINA...but first a field trip...Where am I?

Ok...you will notice that most of these photos are of ME...why?
Mom and I were on a field trip today...where were we?
 Ok...a clue...I was in a hollowed out tree...any idea where I was?
I had ice cream...any idea where I was?
Ok...does the VERY LARGE COW give it away?  I would NOT GET near that cow...it doesn't look normal...my friends are brave but I AM NOT GETTING NEAR that thing...I stayed far away in mommy's arms!
Ok...cow..ice cream and a playground...can it get any better...well I could skip the cow part but ice cream, friends and a playground...they are all on the top of my list!
 Where were we you ask?
Here we are riding on a wagon pulled by a tractor....
If you look real closely you can see the tractor pulling us...this part was fun!
This is what we saw...WE were at a DAIRY FARM!  These cows look like they are annoyed with one another...and don't worry...the cow that is lying down...she was just resting...
This cow was way to up close and personal for me...I would not turn around to look at her any more closely...I would NOT have gotten out of that wagon if they had left me...
These cows are really really big!
This is Kathy...she was our tour guide...oh the things she told us...did you know...OH could I tell you somethings...
Here we saw the cows being milked...IT stank!
Ok...this is to up close and personal for me...even though she is a baby and mom is just wanting to hug the calf...I AM NOT SO SURE OF THIS....
MOM loves any animal...me I AM NOT SO SURE...
Ok...mom is touching her...the calf is chewing on mom's jeans...
Ok...that is close enough...and don't put me down mom!!!
Ok...end of the field trip!!! Now for a few photos from NIGHT two of LIBERATE LINA Cedar Crest vs. Elco...more awesome photos coming soon...after the soccer banquet when someone from the stands can give us photos of the two teams on the field and all of us in the middle...all with LIBERATE LINA Shirts!  IT WAS awesome!  The banquet is tomorrow..so more photos soon...stay tuned....
 My Daddy!!!!!
 Daddy and Avi...
 Our girls....Cedar Crest...we love them!!!
Daddy, Big sis Sasha and ME!!!!!
Here is our sweet AVI MEISTER as we call her...actually her real name is Avigayil...Hebrew for Abigail!
We were on the bench waiting for all the girls from Cedar Crest and Elco to go out onto the field to stand together for LINA!  Mommy was so blessed she was crying...I think Daddy was too!

If you look real closely to the back of the shirt...you can see it says...LIBERATE LINA...Psalm 68:8
"God sets the lonely in families"  That is you sister LINA...YOU ARE IN OUR FAMILY...MOMMY is coming for you...we are counting down the days and we are now in the single digits....MOMMY has never stopped being excited...So hurry home...I CAN NOT wait to teach you lots of things...like how to...well I will save it all until you are home safely with us...and with me!  I love you already...maybe just in photos and in my heart but you will see...love is awesome!
Soon that frown will be a smile like mine and we will never stop laughing and playing and loving!  I love you Angelina Mariyana...Carpenter...love your sister...Ellianna Ya-Ting Carpenter!!!!

LIBERATE LINA - stay tuned for exciting news!

LIBERATE LINA and Soccer!!!!!

What do they have in common?

LINA's daddy coaches high school girl's soccer!  There are rival high schools that play each other for the prize of being the best!  CEDAR CREST vs. ELCO    Last year - 2011 both teams decided they wanted to do more than just play soccer - they wanted to be a part of a tiny malnourished orphan girl coming home!  That girl is our AVI - they dedicated their game night to AVI and both teams bought our fundraising t -shirts!  Both teams stood on the field before the game holding hands wearing the t-shirts for Avi!  Sasha and I were still in the Philippines bringing Avi home during the game of 2011!  Avi is now home and no longer tiny or malnourished!  She is so loved and so very cherished!

This year both teams wanted to be a part of something more than soccer!  They are helping to LIBERATE LINA!  Stay tuned because...the JV game was played but the Varsity game was postponed until Saturday May 5, 2012 due to thunderstorms and lightening!

But here is a preview of what it to come tomorrow night!  Everyone was wearing LIBERATE LINA t-shirts! The shirts say - "Buy this t-shirt" and on the back they say LIBERATE LINA psalm 68:6 - They will stand on the field together hand in hand for LINA - but it will now be tomorrow night - so no photos of that yet because it stormed before the events got that far tonight!

I had to cry with joy and amazement at the LOVE of these girls for a little girl who was once an orphan BUT no longer an orphan and coming home soon!  Psalm 68:6 is the LIBERATE LINA verse - "God sets the lonely in families".  God has set LINA CARPENTER in our Family and we simply can not wait to bring her home!

WE love these soccer girls...they are amazing...the coaches are amazing...the parents are amazing...the encouragement we have received is amazing!  WE serve an amazing God!

LINA IS COMING HOME - stay tuned for that exciting news and stay tuned because the game is being played tomorrow night so more pictures are coming!  Be amazed at what God can do...

CEDAR CREST GIRLS! WE LOVE YOU GIRLS!

Check out the back of the shirt - LIBERATE LINA PSALM 68:6

Shelly we do have diet coke in Pennsylvania - this one is for you -the pink straw is Ellianna's straw we bring to every soccer game!  But this one is for you....
Check out this photo - Sasha, Ellianna and Jaya (Jaya is a star gymnast - just won level 7 PA states on the floor!)
OK...gotta love this photo I had to show it twice - This photo describes ELLIANNA!  She loves life and she loves her daddy's soccer games!  Here we have Taiwan, India and Russia in this photo!
Here is LINA's daddy watching the game intently - this was the JV game because Varsity is postponed until tomorrow!
Precious Ellianna with her Liberate Lina shirt!
Avi is too small for even the smallest Liberate Lina shirt but she doesn't seem to mind - she is safe in Pam's arms and ready for a nap!
Avi - our precious Avi (short for Avigayil - Abigail in Hebrew - meaning Joy of the Father)
 Ellianna and her buddy Jaya!
The awesome girls of the Varsity team
The girls getting ready for the photo -
ELCO GIRLS - sorry not such good photos (I will get more tomorrow night!) but you can see the sky starting to darken...it got darker...and darker...and moved around the field...then the game was called until tomorrow night...

So stay tuned...more to come!

LINA you are loved!  LINA you are being prayed for...LINA everyone is asking when they can meet you!  Soon...stay tuned!!!

WE love you girls!  Your enthusiasm and heart bring us joy and encouragement...may you continue to give to others and be blessed because of it!  CEDAR CREST vs. ELCO! AWESOME!

To God be the GLORY...great things HE HAS DONE!

Abraham

Abraham needs our prayers and help!

Abraham is a 10  year old boy that was a street child in a Southern Region of the Philippines!  Adoption by Filipino families is very difficult due to the expense for families desiring to adopt but Abraham is loved as a member of Pastor Mark's family!  Pastor Mark is a dear friend of mine and prayed over us during our trip to bring home our precious AVI!!!  OH WHAT A STORY I someday need to share but right now ABRAHAM NEEDS OUR PRAYERS!

Abraham is a beloved "member" of Pastor Mark and Van's family for the past three years.  They have rescued him from the streets!

Pastor Mark is the brother of our dear ministry partners in the Philippines - helping with sharing love and provision to Avi's former orphanage!  One time a month Pastor Mark's wife, Van helps to organize the youth from the church going to the orphanage to share the LORD JESUS with the children - to share love - to share music - to share good food both for the spirit and the little bellies!

Abraham was climbing in a Mango tree and fell!  He can not really use his legs or walk since the accident!  They are asking for prayer for the LORD's healing!  Hospitalization and doctor's are very expensive!  I am seeking any one's help to provide for Abraham.  I will get a new chip in set up but for the time being if you have a desire to help Abraham please let me know!  Please email me at nusker1@hotmail.com

Anything given towards Abraham will 100% go to Abraham!  Have you ever seen hospitals and medical care in poverty stricken regions?  If you have not...just imagine and then know that you have not imagined it how it really would be!  Abraham needs prayer and Pastor Mark and Van need help!

Thank you and may the LORD bless you today!

I am blessed!
